Marco Avanzo-Barbieri, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2011. Marco is Head of Intermediary – Italy & Greece. Prior to joining the firm, Marco was a Senior Sales and Client Service Executive at Western Asset Management (WAMCO), where he was responsible for developing key client relationships in Southern Europe and Israel. He started his career as a private equity analyst at CAPE Italy, and then joined the Banca Sella Group as a portfolio manager. Marco has an MSc (Distinction) in International Financial Markets from the University of Southampton, UK, and a Laurea in Business Administration from Luigi Bocconi University Milan, Italy.
