Jay Berger, CFA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2011. Jay is responsible for sourcing, due diligence and structuring of transactions for the NB Specialty Finance Team. Within the group, Jay focuses on analyzing consumer credit, small business debt and asset-based loans. Prior to this, Jay was on the NB Hedge Fund Solutions Team where he was responsible for due diligence of credit co-investments, manager diligence and portfolio management. He graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in Mathematics. Jay has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
