Ian Bates, CFA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2014. Ian is an Associate Portfolio Manager and Trader focused on European Non-Investment Grade Credit. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at AXA Investment Managers, focusing on European credit. He was previously a Credit Research Analyst at Blackrock and Merrill Lynch. Ian earned a BA from the University of Nottingham and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
