Stephen Cowie, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2008. Stephen is the Director of Research for the Municipal Fixed Income team. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Stephen worked at Robeco Weiss Peck & Greer as the head of municipal research. Before that, he held several credit research-related positions at Lazard Asset Management, Fiduciary Trust Co., and Dreyfus. Stephen began his career at Standard & Poor’s within the public finance department. He earned a BA in Economics from Hobart College and an MBA from the Frank Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University.
