Ugo Lancioni, Managing Director, joined Neuberger Berman in 2007. Ugo is a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager on Global Investment Grade and Multi-Sector Fixed Income strategies. He also sits on the Asset Allocation Committee, focusing on macroeconomics, currencies and fixed income dynamics. In his current role, he combines portfolio management expertise with client engagement and contributes to strategic planning for fixed income in Europe alongside senior leaders. During his tenure at Neuberger Berman, Ugo built and led the firm’s currency management business for 18 years. Before joining the firm, he spent 11 years at JP Morgan, where he served as a Currency Strategist and Portfolio Manager, overseeing FX risk in Fixed Income Portfolios. Earlier, he worked as a derivatives market maker and rates trader in JP Morgan London’s STIRT group. Ugo holds a Master’s in Economics from the University “La Sapienza” in Rome.
