Leo Viola joined the firm in 2018 and is a Managing Director and Controller for Neuberger Berman. As the firm’s Controller, he is responsible for all aspects of financial, regulatory and management reporting, including the integrity of internal controls and processes, the adoption and implementation of accounting standards, and the development of appropriate technology solutions. In addition, he is responsible for the firm’s treasury and cash management functions. Prior to this role, Leo was the Director of Accounting Policy and a Project Manager for the General Partner Reporting team within the firm’s Finance team. Prior to joining the firm, Leo held multiple finance roles at Citigroup. Leo is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA in International Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
