Meet the Team

Christina Leaver, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2014. Christina is the head of Client Service team in EMEA leading a team of 11. Prior to her current role Christina worked within the Client Service team focusing on clients in the Benelux & Nordics regions. Before joining the firm Christina held positions at Nomura Asset Management and Boyer Allen Investment Management LLP. Christina received a BA in Geography from the University of Birmingham.

Aleksandra Willers, Senior Vice President and Client Service Manager, joined the firm in 2017. Aleks is a member of the EMEA Client Services team and has specific responsibilities for numerous clients in the Middle East, Africa, UK local-authority clients and consultants. Prior to joining the firm, Aleks worked with UK and Irish clients at Wellington Management, having previously worked in a sales and marketing role at GAM. Aleks received a MSc degree in Finance and Banking from The Poznań University of Economics.

Matthias Huber, Client Service Manager, joined the firm in January 2017 and is a member of the Client Coverage Group EMEA responsible for servicing Neuberger Berman’s clients in Switzerland, Germany & Austria. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Insight Investment (Global) Limited, London as an as a Client Service Specialist. Prior to that, he worked for six years BNP Paribas Securities Services holding various roles in Operations and Client Services. Matthias earned a commercial apprenticeship degree at the Commercial Business School, Liestal and holds a Certificate in management from the University of London as well as the IOC Certificate from the CISI Institute, London.

Alessandra Frignani, Senior Vice President, Client Services Manager, joined the firm in 2006. Alessandra is a member of the European Client Services team and has specific responsibilities for numerous clients, both Retail and Institutional. Prior to joining the firm, Alessandra worked at Henderson Global Investors in Milan and London. Alessandra received a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Milan.

Chris Gallagher, CFA, Client Service Associate joined the firm in 2016 and is a member of the Client Coverage Group EMEA responsible for servicing Neuberger Berman’s clients in the UK. Chris has 9 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Invesco in various client support roles, most recently as a Senior Client Reporting Specialist. Chris graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in English Literature. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Philipp Mähr, Client Service Associate, joined Neuberger Berman in July 2022 and is a member of the Client Coverage Group EMEA responsible for servicing Neuberger Berman’s clients in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at State Street International GmbH, Frankfurt am Main where he held different roles in the Collateral+ Client Service Team. Philipp holds a LL.B. in Business Administration and Law from the University of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg.
