Billy Lang, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2022. Billy is a Portfolio Manager on the Emerging Markets Debt team responsible for FX and rates management for the Latin America time zone. Mr. Lang joined the firm from Emerging Markets Debt Team at HSBC where he was CO-PM for EM Local Currency Debt fund since July 2016. Before that, Mr. Lang worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Vice President in Local Currency Trading from 2010 to 2016. He focused on Latin American trading throughout his tenure there, specializing in foreign exchange trading strategies and IR/FX derivatives. He brings a quantitative background in risk management and valuation techniques as well as in trading plain and exotic foreign exchange options. He holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities. He is a CFA Charterholder.
