Brendan McDermott, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager & Senior Research Analyst, joined Neuberger Berman in 2009. Based in London, Brendan is a portfolio manager and senior research analyst focused on distressed and special situation opportunities globally. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Brendan worked at Newberry Capital Management, where he was responsible for analyzing distressed investments in the airline/aircraft, building supplies, homebuilding and hospitality industries. Prior to this role, Brendan was an associate in BNP Paribas’ Leveraged Finance Group and prior to that he held a variety of positions within Arthur Andersen and Huron Consulting Group’s Corporate Advisory Services Practices. Brendan received his BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross. In addition, he is a Registered Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”).
