Stefan Becker, CEFA, CIIA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2014. Stefan is a Relationship Manager who is the Head of Intermediary Business for Germany and Austria and is responsible for Neuberger Berman’s marketing activities in the intermediary client segment for both countries. Before joining Neuberger Berman, Stefan was head of Wholesale Germany at Union Bancaire Privée based in Zurich where he was responsible for building UBP’s wholesale business in Germany. Prior to this Stefan was a key account sales executive for seven years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In this role he was responsible for the coverage of key account clients, in particular for major banks, in the German market and part of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Sales Council. Before joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Stefan was eight years at Merrill Lynch for where he held several client roles in the Capital Markets Group as well as in the Investment Management division. Stefan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Johann Wolfgang Goethe in Frankfurt, Germany. He is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) and Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
