Joe Schurer, Managing Director, rejoined the firm in 2019. Joe is the Head of Loan Trading and Capital Markets Lead for Loans on the Non-Investment Grade Credit Team. Prior to joining the firm, Joe was a founding member and head of trading at Kramer VanKirk Credit Strategies. Joe was also an original member of LightPoint Capital Management LLC which was acquired by Neuberger Berman in 2007. During his previous time with Neuberger, Joe’s responsibilities included trading leveraged loans, high yield bonds and credit default swaps across several credit strategies. Joe earned a BA in Finance from Michigan State University.
